Letters to Mary Almyra Starr Wolcott are from her husband Henry while he was away on business and from her brother Robert Starr and her son-in-law Joseph Balestier. Of note in the assorted papers is a description of the chain over the Hudson River at West Point during the Revolution, written by Elizabeth Franklin Townsend Wolcott.
